Last week, I linked to a Bloomberg pictorial of a new plant in Burlington, Ontario. Now Melbourne, Australia is getting its first record plant in 30-years:
“Program Records will open for business in early 2018 and comes equipped with state of the art WarmTone presses, which are made by the Toronto-based company Viryl Technologies who specialize in modern automated pressing machinery. The WarmTone press is said to be the first ever integrated machine software for the record pressing industry, taking a lot of the guesswork out of the equation and providing consistent quality and fast turn around times.”
Interesting to note how much Canada has been contributing to the modern vinyl-boom.
